I learned to code by building things that had to be used, not just admired. Whether I am shaping Orb21, improving Inside Nairobi Tours, or cleaning up a product flow, I look for the pressure points first: users, money, trust, speed, and maintenance.
No decorative complexity
Unused code becomes unpaid rent. I prefer simple flows, clear ownership, fast pages, and features that make life easier for the person using the system.
